These are maps I made of Volerum while I was first writing my book. Most of the story takes place in the northwest peninsula, though other parts of the world are talked about either by the characters or the narration.

The starred city on the northwest peninsula is Kassadea. The lake to the south is Lake Laya, and the City of Laya is just to the south of the lake. The ruined City of Eluthane (former home of the Ice Wand) is the labeled dot just opposite the lake from the City of Laya.

The road leading east and south crosses the river at Aljen’s Bridge, and from there one could go south to Lake Paylom (former home of the Thunder Wand), or head northeast to Chora. Lastly the peninsula to the southeast is Eta Mor (former home of the Wand of Fire).

I’m looking forward to more fully exploring these territories as I write the next book of the Ages of Volerum, The Demons’ Legend: The End of the Third Age.
